first eagles in Maine for 2022: both birds with full adults plumage and likely the local resident pair. soaring in wide circles high overhead @ 1115 hrs. the lead bird significantly larger than the follower. we have not located the nest from previous seasons, but we will take better optics next visit to determine if these eagles are now adding sticks to the top of a cell tower well beyond the eastern shore of the Kennebec River.
