My friend found monarch caterpillars in her yard and brought them to me. She said her milkweed plants were damaged in the recent freeze. She knew I was interested and have raised some before. I still had some milkweed plants and a butterfly cage. I can feed them and care for them, but I’m not sure what to do when they are ready to be released since it’s so late in the season. I would appreciate any information.
