Monarch Adult Sighted

Date: 01/13/2022

Number: 1

Today’s weather is pure sunshine, 65 degree Farenheit temps, with gentle breezes which were perfect for warming the body of the Monarch that we saw flying over the landscape.
Two Monarch sightings within a week is unusual in January, but considering that Louisiana has experienced a warm winter this past year, I guess it could be happening this year.
