one adult bald eagle again perched on a favorite branch of a tall cottonwood on the western shore of the Kennebec River along south Water St. @ Waterville, ME. today this eagle arrived on perch just before 13 hrs 47 minutes during a light snow flurry; the bird was not present when we passed this site only 10 minutes earlier. three previous days we watched eagles nearby or even taking flight from this same tree, but no chance for any images. the eagle is about 70 meters away from the camera location.
