Monarch Larva Sighted

Date: 01/14/2022

Number: 7

Over a period of 48 hours 7 Monarch larva have commenced feeding on our asclepias new growth. We moved 5 of them to a protected habitat inside as the wx got cooler. I believe the lizards got 2 before we got the remaining 5. We are out of asclepias for feeding and are having to beg for leaf matter. An additonal 3 larva arrived from a friends garden on the contributed leaves. She lives about half a mile from us.
