We released two adult Monarch butterflies on 1/13, one day after they eclosed. (We had found the chrysalises and brought them inside before the freezing weather blew in.) The male butterfly showed up on the back porch on 1/16, appearing unable to fly from cold. I brought him back inside to warm up and will re-release when it’s warmer.
