Seen diving for fish while I was perched on the back porch of the Royal Oyster bar and grill, a must stop if you are ever near Gulf Shores, AL

Sorry no photo. We see loons diving for fish near the beach in Fort Morgan every year in January or February when we vacation there. Often in the estuaries as well. Not usually close up but we are familiar with their flight and behavior as they spend their summers on our lake.
