Number: 1

I found this larvae crawling across my living room floor. Two days prior, in expectation of a light freeze, I brought in two basil plants and one begonia. I left milkweeds and lemon tree and other things on my balcony and covered them. Then this larvae turned up in the living room. My thoughts are that he was in one of the pots I brought in even though neither is a host plant. Now I am letting him feed on a milkweed that I brought into the house. I will take him back to the balcony when the weather warms a little. Any advice? Any explanation of what he was doing on the basil or begonia? He is about an inch long now.
