A single robin was perched mid-afternoon on a woodpecker suet feeder where it could not access suet as a perching bird. The yard is totally covered with 12 to 36 inches of snow and all crabapples in the yard have already been consumed. Starlings frightened this robin away as they surrounded the feeder searching for food.
