one eagle soaring westward very high and far to west beyond intersection US 202 @ ME 137 in Albion ME. the eagle at its altitude was likely able to see both Kinney Compost where it may have recently visited to feed 11.5 km to the east and also the Kennebec River 15 km further west where eagles are also frequently observed. the local wintering red-tailed hawk was seen nearby flitting cautiously along a row of hardwoods moments after the eagle passed high above.
