these robins were eating ornamental apples near the sciences building at Colby College. the robins have been reported by others through other web portals recent days. we also observed 2 cedar waxwings; others have reported flocks of several dozens of waxwings at this location. this is a location where the ornamental fruit some years attract robins, both species of waxwings, pine grosbeaks, and several of the irruptive small winter finches.
