I rescued 8monarch caterpillars around January 3, 2022
6 turned into chrysalis’s and have emerged as beautiful monarch’s
The male passed on last night after doing his thing with the female’s

I have one male that emerged two days ago and three females left

Raising in sunroom, using orange slices and apples for food

Will continue to enjoy until temperatures warm up or final stages of life

I still have milkweed plans blooming, thinking about digging up one to see if butterfly’s will lay eggs on plants in sunroom

Knowing they would not survive outside, it has been a pleasure watching them inside the sunroom
