Caring for 2 monarch larvae about 1.75 inches in length and 2 monarch chrysalis found over-wintering in my landscape beds. Early winter here was very mild (and unfortunately I neglected cutting back my milkweed in Fall~). Anyway, I carefully move the larvae and chrysalis indoors before major freezes and take them out when it warms back up. Hopefully I can at least get the 2 larvae to the chrysalis stage with the milkweed seedlings that I currently have growing indoors under grow lights (for Spring planting).
