I just got this relay information today inquiring if a friend has seen a Rufous. That lives in a north county Houston called Woodlands. He gets Rufous every winter.

We had a Rufous in our yard until today.  I have no idea why it didn’t show up.  I even went out before sunrise to give him unfrozen sugar-water and have checked it every hour since. "
