This is my first year of having a butterfly garden in WH Florida, finished planting it just before the cold weather set in two weeks ago, and we were thrilled that once we were done we immediately started getting Monarchs visiting our garden! The first couple of days we spotted about a 1/2 dozen per day, then the cold spell hit and we haven’t seen one since😞! Seeing it’s our first year with a butterfly garden in Florida, we didn’t know what to expect? Does a cold spell in Florida in February, signal the end to butterfly sittings in central Florida till the spring ?
