This morning @ 7 am, I observed 5 huge formations of Geese, totaling several hundreds, flying high on a Southerly wind. I have never seen Geese fly this fast, riding the wind. I do not know the wind speeds aloft, but these guys had to be doing 150 mph+ ground speed.
