This is the butterfly from one of the caterpillars I found in January that survived freezing temps. I brought them into the boathouse where we have our plants over the winter. She formed her chrysalis in a cage I brought down there and was in it for close to 30 days. When the chrysalis got dark I brought the cage up to the house. She hatched within a few hours. She’s perfectly formed
