Robin (WAVE seen)

Date: 02/13/2022

Number: 50

Over the years we have seen a few Robins the entire fall/winter season. We live near a small patch of woods. This year the trees are full of them right before dusk. Their collective sound is beautiful. We have 3 heated birdbaths. Just by chance I saw them gather at the birdbaths, mainly drinking water. We go to a restaurant that is a few miles from our house and robins are gathered in the trees there also. What a sight and sound.

[Journey North Data Verifier Note: contacted observer for more information about this sighting; additional information and quantity contributed on 2/18/22]:

It is hard to count because some fly off and others fly in. They have been coming for weeks. Some days we see more than other days.
