3 adult female Monarchs arrived within 5 minutes of each other by 11:20 AM to lay eggs on my neighbor's milkweed plants growing around his mailbox near the road. Perhaps, these are the same females that were nectaring the past 2-3 days? I tried to "tag" leaves with small slivers of mulch as best I could, while also holding onto my dog's leash. A few of the leaves had 2 eggs! It was very sunny and hot, so I only "tagged" maybe 10 leaves. The females were quite busy and didn't seem to mind us watching them.
