Robin (OTHER Observations)

Date: 03/06/2022

Number: 100

Today after returning from brunch around noon eastern there are hundreds of robins in all the trees lining our street and streets nearby. The sound is what caught my attention but when you look up at the trees and realize how many there and that they are all robins it is amazing and you feel special that they stopped here. We’ve had a robin nest and lay eggs in the tree directly in front of the house or on a windowsill on the house several times in years past but have not noticed this many stopping here before. The winter also brought a large flock of geese in one of the fields nearby that is used for high school sports and last summer the trees hosted many many crows. Red hawks also can be seen perched on churches or high tree branches from time to time.
