Noticed my first Red-Winged Blackbird of season at about 1:45 pm under my bird feeder.

It had a very small pale yellow wing band but was definitely a red-winged blackbird.

I looked up my past sightings and noticed my first recorded one in 2020 was on March 5th and about the same time of day.

They are beautiful creatures with a beautiful sound and it cheered me up immediately knowing I'll be able to start hearing them every morning soon.
