The ground was frozen. Birds had no access to any ground foraging. I had two trays of bird seed & black oiled sunflower seeds under trees & the found was covered with red winged blackbirds. It was amazing to see so many. They would sit in the trees and wait for me to refill multiple times throughout the day.
