A lone bald eagle flew over our house today at about 5pm. I would estimate it was flying at about 200 feet. It seemed that it might be a juvenile because it appeared smaller than I would have expected. This may have been because of the altitude of its flight, but but my impression was that it was a smaller eagle. This is the first bald eagle sighting in our neighborhood that I am aware of.
