Monarch Adult Sighted

Date: 03/07/2022

Number: 1

I was enjoying a sunny, warm, late morning, (10:00am) along the shoreline of San Pablo Bay in Rodeo, when I noticed a fluttering of wings. The butterfly stopped to bask in the sun on a wild radish plant for about 3-4 minutes. I was delighted to see this healthy monarch enjoying the same area as myself. We were on the Bay Trail near Lone Tree Point.
