Just a bit ago, I heard a frog or a toad. It was quite close and very loud. I believe I've heard the same sound in past years, but farther away. After a bit of online research, I think it may be a Fowler's Toad. It made a very loud, grouchy call. Perhaps the lights have drawn it closer to the house. We are due for up to four inches of snow tonight (not a sign of spring!).
