Newly emerged Monarch. Had placed a butterfly cage over a pot of milkweed as the birds or ? We’re eating my cats. This one cat went in to chrysalis some time ago. Weather has been cold so place the cage I n the garage. I had thought this monarch wouldn’t make it- the poor weather and small chrysalis was there for a long time but remained green. Then to my surprise the monarch appeared and appears in good condition. Will release it tomorrow.
