Practice Report (Any Species)

Date: 03/16/2022

Number: 1

We first spotted a hummingbird in our yard this spring on 16 March 2022. It was an adult male ruby-throated hummingbird. It was our first hummingbird of any species in our yard since 4 November 2021 (the previous two winters we had hummingbirds all winter, from November through March, 5 different species altogether). This photo of an adult male ruby-throated hummingbird was taken 17 March 2022. It may be the same bird as 16 March 2022.
