We have over 300 species of perennials, trees and shrubs in our gardens, 1/2 of which are classified as "native" and 1/3 of which are native to this part of Illinois. With annuals and edible plants in the summer species number swells to more than 500. We have substantial stands of common milkweed in all of our gardens which total roughly 80,000 square feet. Our gardens are 100% organic and most of our gardens have more than 90 different plant species.
