I keep finding chrysalides laying in the mulch! I have found a total of 8 the past 2 days. They just appear each morning under the Indian Hawthorn shrubs. They have no silk at all! I cannot find any information online about this behavior. Perhaps, the caterpillars instinctively knew they'd be easily seen if they j-hang from the hawthorn branches and be eaten. Now I must deal with this problem.
