Saw my first Great Blue Heron flying it's South to North Morning flight path over my home 4 days ago!
It might have been here for longer, but I am always happy to see them in their morning and evening flight patterns for summer.
Then I always wonder why it doesn't just nest closer to where it always feeds.... One of life's great mysteries I guess....
