First Sap running! FINALLY. on silver maples. Very low flow this year. My first sap dripped on 3/15. Perhaps the drought from last fall is affecting things (in addition to current weather conditions). It is now 3/27 and I've only had about 4 gallons from the 4 taps. I asked about this on the MN Naturalist page and both LOW and LATE flow seem to be the norm across MN this year.
