The kids also noticed:
A few tulips didn't grow as tall as the others. They think that maybe it didn't get enough nutrients to grow.

They also noticed that in the afternoon the tulips open up and in the morning they are closed. They thought it was because they were warmed by the sun.

They loved that their tulips were taller than their rulers and had to figure out a way to measure something longer than a ruler.
