Monarch Waystation #271 reports the first sprouts of Swamp milkweed breaking the surface in the back bed. Photo shows the tallest stem of several. Recent rain and warm temperatures nudged them up. No milkweeds up in the north beds yet, since the sun doesn't stay there long.
