One adult male ruby throated hummingbird spotted at one of our feeders mid morning taking a very long drink. I was leaving, so was not able to observe for long. However, upon returning late afternoon, he has not been spotted again, so I'm thinking he continued north. This was my first sighting of the year. I've had 3 feeders up for several weeks now. I'm so happy to have them returning. I'm waiting on our gang now. They arrived beginning on the 12th of April last year.
