Hummingbird (OTHER Observations)

Date: 04/11/2022

Number: 2

2 as usual dropped in after a 7:30 a.m rain. One could be a broadtail as it was very long body in appearance. One looked like female and both just hover in feeder area close to feeders looking around.

Both my sisters are saying they just don't stay. That is same with us.

Sister in Katy relayed:
"Saturday morning 2 different feeders, Sunday 1 morning, today nothing. They don't stay"

My sister in Flynn had a female come to feeder last week when male rubythroat was there. Hasn't seen them either. Maybe nesting.

Rubythroat migration is weird this spring in Texas just like the weather is. But this will be 6 so far coming in which is good.
