Practice Report (Any Species)

Date: 04/09/2022

Number: 12

Sudden surge of hours hummingbirds drained a feeder (seeming to prefer one out of three for some reason) in one evening from about 5:00 pm continuing for just under 24 hours. Anna’s and Rufous were actually sharing the feeder, sitting together and using the same ports. This ahead of a winter weather advisory—it is quiet now (4/11) with only a few coming and going from the feeders.
