Landed on recently sprouted butterfly weed (in photo). But flew all around, coming back several times. Definitely seemed to be scouting the area. There was probably only one monarch, but I lost site several times, so there could've been more. But I only saw one at a time. I had several generations munching butterfly weed here last year. Very exciting!!
