I have 10 purple milkweed plants in pots also have another seven plants that are starting to grow again in the garden.
Observed a monarch laying eggs as of my previous report.
So far I can only find three caterpillars - may be more - but they are hard to see at this point. So far this year has been disappointing as last year I had seen 3 female monarchs laying eggs by this time. Raised 25 healthy monarchs
by using mesh cages outside in the garden.
