Very big adult Monarch. “Nectaring” on dandelions. Ignoring a large swath of henbit. Not much else in bloom—redbuds starting, crabapple starting, pussy willow done. Not one single tip of any of my milkweed plants has peeked out of my gardens yet.
SC Kansas has wildly fluctuating daily temps (40 at night, high 70s by late afternoon)and brisk to gusty winds non-stop daily.
Went to house to grab camera—gone when I returned.
