Hummingbird, Nectaring from Flowers
Sightings report image

Date: 04/19/2022

Number: 1

We have a patch of wild Lyreleaf Sage that has grown and comes back for years near our sawmill, but only today did I realize the Ruby-throated Hummingbirds are visiting it! What most would probably consider a weed here, I managed to observe a male Ruby-throated visiting about 6 times in an hour timeframe and hovering at the flowers, moving flower to flower.
