Monarch Larva (FIRST sighted)

Date: 04/25/2022

Number: 8

I'm rearing my Monarch Caterpillars in an outdoor cage. We have a 1/4 acre butterfly garden. As soon as I find one, or some, I place the milkweed pots in the cage. If I do not, the wasps and lizards devour them in no time. Today, I had eight - my first sightings.

Today there were also two female Monarchs laying eggs for nearly two hours.
