A something with hardly a tail flew in on 25th, from where feeders are hung then up into maple tree at dusk. Rain all afternoon in another cold front. Must have moved on not seen today.

Looks like females are late this year. I hope there's enough females for all those male rubythroats seen in reports to go around.
