Monarch Adult (FIRST sighted)

Date: 03/22/2022

Number: 5

I had several migrators dump about 300 eggs!! Unfortunately, i had milkweed just starting to come back, just barely, not enough to feed 10 eggs and my friend from the country reported her green horn antelope was no where to be seen… so i had to destroy the eggs as no one had milkweed. Another migrator or two came through about april 5th and egg bombed about 60 eggs, My friends greenhorn was in the fields so she brought me 3 bunches and a local safe nursery had small plants… so i had enough to feed them all!!! Some Nurseries need to grow giant milkweed in greenhouses during the winter months!!!!! Someone please help with this!!
