First male sighted on this cool and very windy morning. No photo taken as this was a chance sighting as he was hovering a couple feet from my large native honeysuckle vine just outside my kitchen window. Almost as soon as I realized he was there, he flew off. I've had 2 feeders out for more than 2 weeks; One with white flowers and the other red. The red one was sucked down dry the other day but I never saw anything there. The white one almost never gets a serious look (every year) and is a waste. Bought a second feeder with red flowers and set it out just after the sighting. Hopefully will see more soon.
