One male Baltimore oriole showed up outside our dining room bow window at about 9:45am. It looked over the oriole feeder that had liquid, an orange slice and some grape jelly before opting to go to the nearby fence rail where more grape jelly, orange slices and some open top sugar water was. His preference was the grape jelly. Not long after two male and one female orchard orioles showed up. All preferred the offerings upon the fence rail with only one hitting the hanging oriole feeder and then traveling around to our hummer feeders to lap at the drips of sugar water. The temperature was 70 degrees with 10--15mph winds out of the SSW. Both the male Baltimore and the other orchard orioles made several return trips throughout the day.
