8:35am First of season. Young male rose breasted grosbeak at black sunflower/safflower feeder. This is earliest I've seen one--usually seen May 2-6 & after orioles, hummingbirds, & house wrens have arrived. Weather has not been favorable (cold, rainy, N-NW winds)but this little guy got through. Flew off before able to get picture.
