This photo is from a sighting on 04/24/22 - we saw three at once this day (two fluttered around each other a couple of times but I did not observe mating). My first sighting in our yard (it was also the first time I sat for a good while in the yard) was on 04/21/22 - we’ve seen them regularly since that time.

So far (05/01/22), I’ve not identified eggs or caterpillars on my milkweed plants (app.15), but it’s always possible I’ve overlooked, I will examine closer and report any possible sightings.
