Two robins (and two Mourning Doves have been going for the same spots at our condo. For about 5-6 days it was two porch lights. We are on the water and the wind blew their nesting material away almost as fast as they could add it. Eventually, they moved 3 second floor balconies to my grill deck where there is a flat surface surrounding the light. Literally, the robins would bring material and then the doves. They would actively drive each other away. On the one day we didn't have wind and it looked like the robins were making progress, I was going to remove the material since the association would eventually and I didn't want eggs harmed. I went out on one porch to take another look and grab my broom and a wind whipped up and all the nest material was blowing everywhere. This time, I put two objects up there to try to persuade them to find a new place. I took them down after 3 days and this afternoon I see the robins are back. WOW
