Went out today to plant a new butterfly bush in 1 of 2 beds where plenty of milkweed was already growing. In the bed I worked, I found 4 identifiable Monarch caterpillars, and several other things I believed to be eggs - all on milkweed. In the bed I did not work, I found 1 identifiable Monarch caterpillar near milkweed but actually on a blade of grass.
