Our first Oriole arrived today. We were feeding the other birds and he stopped at the jelly dish without being shy or scared. He's probably been here before.. He didn't come back to the jelly for the rest of the day, but we could hear him and other orioles in the trees. They are probably "checking in" to their houses and getting ready to raise their families. We are blessed to have a lot of imprinted orioles. At one time last year, we had eighteen on our deck at one time. Fun! :)
